Restoration of a 1969 Ferrari

According to Sotherby’s who handled the auction this Ferrari had an “Immaculate, documented restoration.” The car sold for $2,722,500.

In 2017, at the RM Sotheby’s auction in Monterey, this 1969 Ferrari 365 GTS, a vintage automobile restored by Bayberry Vintage Autos, caught everyone’s eye and sold for a premium price.  The first production 365 GTS completed, of just 20 examples produced.

Bayberry Vintage Autos did a comprehensive photo-documented restoration on this Ferrari and included an extensive variety of original documents and supplements, including an original period-correct Ferrari key ring with original keys. According to FM Sotheby’s “surely the finest 365 GTS available today, this very special automobile boasts an impressive restoration, exceedingly correct original specifications, and all of the best equipment. It is a car for which no excuses need be made.”
