The 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible (Lot #653 – 1953) brought the 50th anniversary of Buick, and with it a limited production run of 1,690 Buick Skylark convertibles. This particular example benefited from a full frame-off well-documented restoration in the early 2000s, at which time the car received a new top and interior as well. It is powered by a 322ci Nailhead V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission. It is fitted with power brakes, windows, seat antenna and convertible top, and rides on Kelsey Hayes wire wheels. The chrome is in excellent condition and the engine bay is like new; the wheels are also in great condition, and the exterior has a polished smooth appearance and is in wonderful condition.
This car is powered by a first-year 322c Nailhead V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission. Equipped with power brakes, power steering, power seat, power top and white over white and red interior.
